Seeking God in Turbulent Times

When storms of life come crashing in

And all seems dark and gray.

As things begin to take wrong turns

And struggles overwhelm your day.

Seek God’s will and He will give you rest.

When depression comes and rules your life

And all seems lost and vain.

As people turn their backs on you

And cause you endless pain.

Seek God’s will and He will comfort you.

When financial loss envelops you

And worry steals your joy.

As jobs and cars and houses go

And your life feels like a toy.

Seek God’s will and He will give you peace.

When living has overwhelmed you

And giving up is easy to do.

As your life seems over and useless now

And you feel God’s given up on you.

Seek God’s will; and He will give you hope.
