Starting From Scratch When You’re Single Again
The world economy is in shambles, we are facing a new
year; now imagine the devastation of divorce or being widowed, losing the means
of financial and emotional support for your family.
New statistics reveal that 58% of marriages will end
in divorce, while, according to the 2000 U.S. Census, 32 percent of women over
fifty-five are widows.
In Starting From Scratch When You’re
Single Again Sharon M. Knudson and Mary Fran Heitzman
serve up true, poignant stories from widowed and
divorced women in their early twenties to late seventies who survived a
horrific death-blow to their dreams for a happy, secure future. With God’s help
each one found enough strength to not only survive – but
thrive.
Each woman’s story and the lessons learned
provide encouragement and spiritual refreshment.
