A Day For Grace’s fifth annual benefit concert will be held on Sunday, July 27 at the Douglas County Fairgrounds in Roseburg.  The concert starts at 6:oo pm.  Sanctus Real and Fire Flight to be the headlining bands as well as three opening bands from around the area.

This year’s recipient is Kenzi Cullett and her family.  Eight years ago Kenzi was born not breathing.  As a result of lack of oxygen, she has suffered some brain damage, mostly showing up in her inability to speak, stand or eat on her own.  She is fed through a port in her stomach and requires constant care.  She is an amazing little girl who likes to laugh at mom and dad and the way they “get her.”  A Day For Grace staff chose Kenzi as the recipient of this year’s efforts due to the amount of work it requires to care for her on a daily basis and the strain this has been on the Cullett family when this past November their house caught fire!  They lost nearly every material possession.

Monies raised through individual and business support will pay for the expenses of putting on the concert (travel expenses for the band, lodging, production and food costs, equipment and location fees, etc.).  The goal is to have the concert completely paid for by these donations so that proceeds from all the tickets sales can go to the Cullett family.  Our minimum goal is to sell 3,000 tickets.

We are asking you, fellow members of the body of Christ, to join with us to make this a huge success.  We are asking churches in the Southern Oregon area to tell their congregations about the concert, post fliers and posters (provided by us), make announcements and bring youth groups.

We have made arrangements with some of the local churches for overnight accommodations for groups of ten or more traveling from out of town.  Please call  AJ Jordan, (541) 643-7161, directly if you are interested in taking advantage of these accommodations.
