Hope

Thank you, Lord, for hope…

hope that night will lighten to dawn,
that dawn will bring another chance
to love, to forgive, to try again
to make it right…
Hope that we can bring you
the pieces of our lives
we have twisted and broken,
put them in your hands,
and, with your help,
make them beautiful…

“I pray that the God who gives hope

will fill you with much joy and peace
while you trust Him.  Then your hope
will overflow by the power of the Holy Spirit”.  Romans 15: 13
